Privacy Policy

This is a translation. The German version of this privacy policy is the legally binding one.

The short version, for kids too

You can just read this site. You don't have to sign up anywhere, type in your name or upload anything. We don't set cookies, and we don't collect any data about who you are or what you look at. The quiz doesn't remember anything. Only the computer the site lives on briefly notes that someone opened a page. It needs that to keep everything running safely.

Controller

FLITCH UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schapenstraße 29, 38104 Braunschweig, Germany, represented by its managing director, Daria Helck, email infoflitchfun.

What happens when you visit this website

This website consists of static pages with no accounts, no forms, no comments and no advertising. We do not set cookies and do not use any analytics, advertising or social media services. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server, not from third parties.

When a page is requested, the web server processes technically necessary data: the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred and the browser used. This data is stored in server logs that serve security and troubleshooting purposes and is automatically deleted after 15 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are not analyzed to identify individual people.

Hosting

The website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner processes the server logs on our behalf.

The quiz

The quiz questions run entirely in your browser. Answers are not transmitted, not stored and not analyzed.

Links to other websites

Links lead to Amazon, to the shop and Club on flitch.fun and to a few other sites. As soon as you follow a link, the privacy rules of that website apply. We do not embed any third-party content.

Email

If you send us an email, we store the message along with your address in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), and we delete it once the matter has been settled and there is no legal obligation to keep it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen). To do so, write to us at infoflitchfun.
